Marrying her interior design expertise with her passion for sales, Erica Covelle surpasses industry standards, thriving in a competitive environment while raising three children. As the senior vice president of Covelle & Company, Covelle ensures that her sellers, buyers, property investors, and developers leave every negotiation satisfied with the results. “I’m a fierce negotiator that sets a plan with my clients rather than shooting from the hip,” she explains. “I have a structured way to go about things while being flexible. I handle each client with care and aim to alleviate their stress by educating them and helping them through any obstacles.”
After graduating from the New England School of Art and Design, Covelle worked for DiMella Shaffer, learning valuable skills like producing construction drawings in AutoCAD, building and rendering 3D models in Sketch-up, and producing FF&E schedules for a range of residential and commercial projects. “The experience and knowledge I gained from that part of my career journey goes unmatched,” she says. Covelle has built an extensive social media following, amassing over 10,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter combined. “We generate on average an additional 30,000 views on our listings through social media alone,” she says. “We push ads with money behind them and hone in on specific locations and other details that make sense for the particular property we are listing.”
Through the years, Covelle has received numerous accolades including the Quality Service Award, Excellence Award, Titan Award, Centurion Award and entry into the Centurion Honors Society, Chairman’s Club, and Platinum Club. She is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Covelle celebrated the birth of her third child in 2018, she feels incredibly blessed to have three beautiful, healthy children. “The secret to my success is driven through the love and support of my understanding and patient husband, JR Covelle,” she says.

An accomplished, passionate, results-oriented finance professional with a wide range of experience, JR uses his strong accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis skills to give Covelle & Company a view into the business that is extremely valuable & informative while also playing the role of Dad to three kids, Jude, Ila & Sonny. A wearer of many hats, he is an initiative-taking, meticulous, and responsible individual that is an analytical thinker with an eye for identifying and resolving issues. His sound leadership skills give Covelle & Company a strong foundation and motivating presence. He is a solid performer under pressure, with a consistent history of exceeding timelines and deadlines. His character can be described in three words: reliability, accountability, and integrity. He is a consummate team player with proven interpersonal and team management skills and is always committed to excellence and success.
As Vice President of Business Operations, JR lends many of these skills to Covelle & Company daily. A passionate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) strategist, he normally analyzes three aspects of the business, past, present, and future. From his weekly sales presentation to his monthly financial review, JR makes sure that the company’s results are accurate and analyzed to make certain the best decisions are made from the executive team. “The numbers can tell you so much about not only the health of your business, but the direction your business is headed. It is not what you think you are, but what you are that really matters. The numbers do not only show you where you have been, but also where you are going and that is so important in this age where everything moves so quickly, and decisions have to be made on the spot.” He also lends his skills to the sales team, motivating them and making sure they are aware of how they are performing relating to their goals and the goals of the company. “In any game, you have to keep score, or you will not know if you won or lost.”
Aside from his operational & financial responsibilities to the company, he also acts as a “fixer,” often picking up the pieces that CEO Erica Covelle cannot get to. “Erica is on the clock 24/7, so anything I can take off her plate is not only healthy for the Company, but also for her. “I am here to lend my skills wherever they might be needed. From being a runner and dropping of checks to meeting with potential clients, I am there to do whatever is needed to help the success of the Company.
After graduating from Merrimack College with a BS degree in Business with a concentration in Finance, JR gained invaluable experience working at Custom Wireless and Lycos, Inc. in the accounting and finance departments. There he sharpened his skills and received a priceless education on what it takes to run a successful business. By collaborating closely with the executives in all aspects of the business, he was able to absorb critical information on everything from leadership to inventory management and was the person the executives came to if they had a question or project that needed to be completed. His latest endeavor was being the Director of Financial Operations at Presidio Networked Solutions in Woburn, MA where he held that position from 2012 – 2020. There he honed his FP&A skills over 8 years working closely with company leaders & executives.
He was also the President, CEO, and Co-Founder of shopthejunkyard.com, an electronics e-commerce site where he gained invaluable familiarity and experience in the space of e-commerce, leadership & management.

Miles earned a BBA in finance from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and studied with the American Real Estate Academy. He was part of the Army National Guard for six years, and he has also worked as a firefighter with the Stoneham Fire Department since 2018. “The attention to detail and discipline I’ve learned with the Army and fire department has been crucial to my business success, especially in real estate,” he explains. Miles has a special affinity for providing financial advice and guidance to first-time homebuyers, veterans, military personnel, and first responders.

A skilled multitasker with a passion for real estate, native Bostonian Nicole Brotherton serves as Covelle & Company’s invaluable team coordinator. In that role, she’s responsible for facilitating communication among team members, clients, and business affiliates to ensure every task gets done perfectly and on time. Covelle & Company agents rely on Nicole’s organizational savvy to assist in day-to-day real estate duties, and they praise her ability to promote efficiencies and ensure every idea is implemented. In short, she keeps multiple people and transactions on track, and she does it all while working remotely from her home in Texas.
Prior to joining the Covelle & Co. team, Nicole sharpened her management and organization skills as a stay-at-home mom to two busy children. When she’s not hard at work, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her now-teenaged kids.

Before joining the real estate industry, Matthew completed his undergrad with a degree in Business and a minor in Hospitality. He carries a diverse background in sales, administration, and support. In 2017, shortly after buying his first home, Matthew attained his real estate license and decided to leave his occupation in technology and put his full-time passion into real estate.
His goal is to give an individualized, tailored, and professional experience to each of his clients- hoping to exceed his customers’ expectations consistently.
